
When I joined
Scouting, the overseas cap was the standard cap for Boy Scouts
and Explorers. For the first several decades of the program,
Cub Scouts wore a beanie-type cap with a small bill at first,
then a larger bill, finally switching to a basebal-style cap.
Over the years different patches have adorned the BSA hats. To
view the diamonds used on the official uniform caps for each
