Pupukea was the original lodge serving the Aloha Council BSA. It was formed in 1962 and merged with Kamehameha 454 (Kilauea Council) and Achsin 565 (Chamorro Council) in February of 1973. Nine lodge pocket flap patches were issued by the lodge between 1963 and 1972. Click on the thumbnails below to see the full-size images. Classifications are based on The Blue Book I, (published July 1996.) Click on a thumbnail to view a full-sized version of the patch.

Z1 is a FAKE 20th anniversary flap featuring a dolphin (these guys are good aren't they?). Pupukea Lodge merged in its tenth year and never portrayed a dolphin on its flaps. Ugly dolphin, too.
