Job Description
Hawaii Together is charged with helping the state respond as
effectively as possible to the impacts on people of the September
11, 2001 attacks and the subsequent economic downturn in Hawaii.
Hawaii Together is one of three volunteer task forces appointed
by the Governor to help to assure the state's best possible response
to the issues arising from the September 11, 2001 attacks. The
other two task forces are focused on security and the economy.

Current Status
Work on Hawaii Together priorities are in full swing. All teams
have roles in moving things forward. Please see extensive February
1, 2002 notes and materials in the meeting materials section.
Everyone is welcome to move to a different committee or subcommittee
if they want to work on a particular area of interest.
