(Adopted October 26, 2001) In the immediate future (3 months - to January 16)To ensure that existing health and human services are maintained and enhanced, to quickly mobilize to meet immediate needs such as shortages of food and the risk of homelessness, and to work with government and other service providers to respond flexibly and quickly to the public's needs. In the short term (6 months)To encourage people through messages of hope and inspiration. Also, to provide the public with information about available services so that they can access them and help others to access them, to collect and analyze data to address areas of need that require support, to communicate important information about the areas of need to the public and all stakeholders (including solutions and ideas for solutions), and to ensure that the public receives appropriate services. In the long term (12 months)To establish new ways to work together to meet the needs of the public, and to involve and build on the strengths of communities in designing solutions to existing health and human services challenges, and those challenges that may arise in the future.
